Overview
Quick guide with requirements, schedules, rules, and policies for participants and companions.

Check In
ONE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT
- At CHECK IN, present your CURP or photo ID (copy) to verify the ages of athletes.
- At CHECK IN, you can pick up your athlete wristbands, tickets, and coach badges.
Recommendations
- Event tickets are sold in time blocks. Please explain the event procedure to your parents to make each block run more smoothly.
- During the Competition, directors, teachers, and choreographers will have reserved seating for the EVENT.
Music
- Music must be carried on a mobile device, laptop, or tablet (airplane mode).
- Each studio is responsible for playing its own music for each routine.
- We will have connections to the different inputs of each device.
- Bring a backup USB drive.
- Music from your phone: make sure the song is imported to iTunes, Spotify, or your media player. We will not be able to play any song that relies on the Internet or emails.
Program and schedule
- Competition start times may vary depending on the number of registered routines, with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
- The event program will be shared one week prior.
- Competition times may be moved forward or delayed by 20 to 50 minutes from the scheduled time.
- Competition routines that are not ready at their check-in time will be canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Deadline for changes
- Modifications to registered routines can be made until 10 days prior to the event.
- If a change is requested days before the event, a penalty of $1,000 MXN will be charged per change.
Technical details
- If technical issues are caused by the venue, you may choose to either repeat or continue with the performance.
- If any issues are caused by a participant or group, the routine is required to continue.
Safety and responsibility
- Athletes, their families, and directors acknowledge and accept the risks involved in dance activities. They assume full responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur during the event.
- Athletes are responsible for obtaining their own medical insurance. Power Dance MX is not responsible for any medical expenses.
Damages and belongings
- Participants will be held liable for any damage to the venue or equipment.
- Power Dance MX, the convention center, and the event venue disclaim any responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Media Rights
By participating in POWER DANCE MX, dancers and their guardians authorize being photographed and/or filmed. This material may be used for promotional purposes.
Overview & Payments
- To lock in your rate, a 20% deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city or event.
- Power Dance MX does not issue refunds for studio cancellations or inability to attend the event for any reason beyond our control. A refund may only be requested if a Power Dance MX event at a given venue is canceled.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Deposit, Bank Transfer, and Cash.
- Checks are not accepted.
- Our prices do not include sales tax.
